On this voyage of life, I travel alone,
Surrounded by the milieu, inward I am prone,
My inner sanctum beckoning me to journey within,
In quest of the eternal light, let my passage begin!
As I transcend from the outer to the inward,
Bereft of friend or foe, my soul is a free-bird,
Remembering hymns, old as the Universe,
Through lifetimes, in my dream, I traverse…
Sailing on the ship of consciousness,
It’s my inner shine, I try to harness,
As the voice within propels me forward,
Directing me to the highest reward!
On my way, I meet with clouds and thunder,
The voice guides me to a total surrender,
With the passage of time, I learn to flow,
Trials and tribulations teach me to let go…
My conquest of peace and inner harmony,
The realization of self is my life’s testimony,
This solo expedition, giving it purpose and meaning,
To find in my heart’s core, my Master’s dwelling!
